Quadratic Equation Solutions

To solve x² - x - 2 = 0, where a=1, b=-1 and c=-2 from the standard quadratic equation ax² + bx + c = 0.

Plugging our values of a, b and c into the formula:

Quadratic Formula solution: x = (-b +/- root(b^2 - 4ac))/2a
